1996 - 2006

The Art Tree art framing & consulting ltd. started as a very small business in my downtown apartment. I had just completed my business certificate in Business Management, which included a business plan. I then took Picture Frame classes at SAIT.

Soon after I started framing many works of art, I collaborated with artists and businesses to display framed art. Mount Royal College became a home to bi- monthly art show & sales.

Art was a very large part of the business for the first 5 years. Then the demand of unique, customized framing became very important to my clients. The wide range of creative tools in the picture frame industry has made it easy for me to work on design.

The availability of colours and textures in both mat boards and picture frame moulding is extensive, making a picture frame unique to each project. If you have ever custom framed your art, you’ll know how much fun and creative it can be. If you haven’t you should come and visit The Art Tree, expand your colour and design ideas.

The Art Tree’s has been located at 41 Chelsea St. since 2002. You are welcome to come and see the creative, design show room. New ideas every month.

The Art Tree is located on the corner of 14 th Street North & Chelsea Street NW. We are in a white brick building with red trim, look to the East and you’ll see our logo.
